Mighty STO Bonus Patches
Переглядів 1,6 тис.5 років тому
3 extra patches using the Make Noise STO as the only sound source, with the 3rd being the longest. Echophon and BigSky add the finishing touches. Original Mighty STO vid here: ua-cam.com/video/Sm9Z4H-Ozbk/v-deo.html
Stereo Dry Shifty
Переглядів 7635 років тому
As the title suggests, this was recorded bone dry. The intellijel Shifty is used to "hocket" notes, exploiting a simple 16 step sequence with a bit of panning added in on the mixer. I use Stages a LOT for simple decay envelopes. Like all the time it seems.
Sunday Quickie - Belgrad + Batumi
Переглядів 9826 років тому
Batumi in expert mode sending random voltages to Belgrad and the Sputnik Dual Oscillator.. run, of course, through the Echophon. Sequenced by Rene. Clocked by Tempi.
The Mighty Little STO
Переглядів 1,1 тис.6 років тому
Another patch using a single Make Noise STO as a source.

Modular Drinkin - Fat Oscillator Stack
Love it
Insane! I just tried it and its amazing. Thank you
WOW
these are so hard to find! i wish i could get my hands on one - for now the doepfer manual/vc octal switch will have to do:) still a great module
My reels are always out of sync with the original. Do you think I have to change some setting on the SD card?
This is amazing
Brilliant!
Last part of the video is really inspiring. 👌
This absolutely slaps
If you’d turn the organise knob fully clockwise the end of splice gate moves the splice immediately
cheers pal this is exactly what I need to see
Does the position of the morph knob have any relevance here ?should it be 'yellow' for a reason? Thanks.
I just want you to know that this video singlehandedly saved my love for the Morphagene, and turned it from "cool module that sounds pretty neat at times" to "indispensable source of tape loops, generation of new patterns, and all around compositional workhorse." Thank you. The jam at the end with the rotating clocks was super cool too!
What Vikram said.
yep exactly this.
very helpful, informative stuff! Patching into the play input is a great tip. Thanks for this!
Useful video, thanks. How do you think the BIA's own decay compares with the LPG?
I just found this after Diablo posted its own remixed tracks, this is infinitely better and way cooler. Literally has me dancing in my chair to the sound of staffs and armor
Happy little mesmerizer patch. Thank you for the bubbly start to my Monday🎶🎵👏👏🙏
Exactly what I wanted to know thanks!
Can’t find muton in stock anywhere(reverb, detroit modular, perfect circuit, etc). Unsure if it’s still being manufactured. Love the music tho 👍👍
Non shabby
This is a really really good video. Maybe made me gas harder for a shared system than anything I've seen. Glorious.
Sick! (good)
Good job. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome!! Was debating getting a LPG for my BIA or not. You sold me. Thank you!
Must have been a lovely day :-)
I discovered your channel some minutes ago (by searching sound examples for the XAOC Belgrad module) and i am deeply impressed by your music. Thank you for sharing! Markus
Just now finding this 10 years too late. Amazing.
Shades of vangelis
I had way too much trouble wrapping my head around this patch. So this is effectively the opposite of Shifty? I just got my Stages recently.
Thank you for pointing out the color of the lights. Makes ALL the difference
Killer. Thank you!
I like the first patch the best.
Awesome
What a great tutorial! I like how you progressively layered the concepts to reach the end result!
Cool stuff. A shift register is another tool that can be useful for these kinds of tricks.
this was dang helpful mate. i am going to try and use it to build chords.
Very sweet! Dual osc Sputnik into Belgrad I presume?
The acid-ish sound comes from a basic sawtooth on generator 1 of the Sputnik run through the low pass filter on Belgrad, with the drive turned up just a bit. The Final output on generator 2 is used for a legato style held note “pad” that sits in the background. Other supporting voices are from the Make Noise STO and Erica Black Wavetable oscillators. I had only just discovered how the basic saw from the Sputnik sounded going through Belgrad when I made this. Decided to embellish it with delay, and stereo panning.
@@noi1989 Thank you! It sounds so lush. Atm using Braids... do you think the Belgrad would be a good filter for it?
dude heck yeah.
Rly enjoy this helpful explanation
Manipulated tempi is amazing in the end!
My barbarian 89 lvl)
Great video. On another note, how did you get the 0-cost rack mounted right next to that other module?
How have you managed to place the 0-Coast next to the bia? With not loosing a hp? I actually loose 3hp.
Thanks so much! I was just considering purchasing the links and read the description, understood what it was saying but couldn’t picture what that would actually mean. Your video was a perfect explanation of section 2. I’m going to look, but I hope you also explained sections 1 and 3? Thanks again in doing a great job in explaining section 2!
Really good tutorial, thank you.
Sounds good! I am still trying to figure out how to use the Black, and Gold.
Time for a bit of the old ultraviolence!
If you pay cain he does a better job
Funny to watch how clever this 500$ modules realy are....sorry - ironic & bad comment 🎼
I had no idea you could slide the sleeve off the box like that. I've been tearing all my mi modules out the side this whole time pretty much demolishing the box. I'm such a dip-shit! 😅 thanks for sharing and congrats on stages!
I've been looking for this since I found it on like Scour Exchange or Napster. Dude. Thank you.
